Chiara Mattieson began practicing law in 2003 and has been named a Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star (an honor reserved for no more than 2.5% of the state's practicing lawyers) every year since 2009. She spent her first decade in practice honing her litigation skills, ultimately focusing on complex litigation as an attorney at one of the largest, best known litigation firms in the Midwest.

Beginning in 2013, Ms. Mattieson began applying her significant litigation experience and skill set to trusts and estates and probate practice. Since then, she has developed a brisk estate planning and trusts & estates and probate administration and litigation practice and has handled matters regarding estates ranging in size and purpose from providing for the needs of an individual to managing multi-million dollar asset holdings.

Litigation remains the core of Ms. Mattieson's practice. She has litigated trust and estate administration issues, breaches of fiduciary duty claims, undue influence scenarios, vulnerable adult abuse claims, attacks on trusts from creditors, disputes as to decedents' estates and personal representative disputes and the like in various probate courts throughout Michigan.
